At Veteran CoWork, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive coworking environment for veterans and first responders through our Global Host Network. Our mission focuses on fostering community, collaboration, and growth within a flexible workspace for veterans who have served our country.

About Us

Our Founder

Steve Golding served 10 years in the Royal Australian Navy as a Radio Operator, sailing aboard Landing Ship Heavy, Replenishment ships, and Guided Missile frigates. His deployments spanned from South Korea and mainland US to Southeast Asia, including a month in Antarctica on border-protection duties. After "25 Years in the wilderness" (Post transition), Steve discharged from the Navy in 1999 and struggled with his own transition into civilian life. He is leading the charge to provide flexible workspace options for Veterans and First Responders, ensuring we have the right space for them to thrive.

Our History

Since 2006, Steve has led the flexible workspace industry across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. He played a key role in launching DaVinci Virtual in the UK, establishing a network of 180+ partner locations, including options for coworking and dedicated spaces. As a founding member of the Virtual Office Forum in London and an active participant in the UK Business Centre Association, he has also represented the Alliance Business Center Network throughout the APAC region, advocating for innovative flexible workspace solutions, and he's now bringing that extensive experience to benefit Veterans and First Responders.

Our Future

In 2014, Steve and his wife Sara established Meeting Hub, a white-label, cloud-based booking platform designed specifically for flexible workspace providers, local governments, and non-profits. Meeting Hub powers Veteran CoWork, a unique coworking solution that streamlines bookings for Veterans and Hosts alike.

The concept of Veteran CoWork came to life during Covid, as Steve and Sara travelled across Australia in their restored 1983 Toyota Coaster, Kenny. They envisioned safe spaces for Veterans and First Responders, to reconnect with one another, their communities, and the businesses they aspire to build.

Our Community

Veterans and First Responders are truly exceptional individuals, always prepared to make sacrifices for their comrades, country, and community. However, upon discharge, many struggle with feelings of lost identity and disconnection. The transition from service to civilian life can blur the lines between work and home, making reintegration a challenging journey.

Veteran CoWork aims to reunite these extraordinary individuals by providing a flexible workspace for veterans through our Global Host Network, which offers a welcoming space for veterans. Given their contributions, we owe it to them to create an environment that fosters connection and support through coworking opportunities.
